Improvements

• A Spectrum Scope function has been added.(only for the IC-7850/IC-7851s with firmware version 1.10 or later)
• The Remote Control main screen's design has been changed.
• A Slider adjustment control option has been added for the volume, squelch and other functions. [Default: Knob]
• The specification of the Server Registration has been changed. The same IP address, but with different transceiver port numbers, can now be registered. However, you can only control one transceiver at a time. (The router connected to the transceivers must be capable of port forwarding.)
• The firmware update now displays a notice when the Remote Utility is closed before closing the Remote Control.
• You can now remotely control the IC-7600:
  - Power ON and OFF.
  - APF AF Level setting.
• The following firmware versions are now supported.
  - IC-7850/IC-7851 version 1.10 or later
  - IC-7800 version 3.10 or later
  - IC-7700 version 2.10 or later
  - IC-7600 version 2.00 or later
  - IC-7100 version 1.10 or later
• A [Controlled by older commands] setting has been added to set the operating frequency and mode using the original commands. (For details, refer to the [Connect Setting] topic in the help file.)

Note

• When you use the RS-BA1 with a USB 3.0 device, you must use a USB 3.0 driver. Download the driver here.
• RC-28 firmware version 1.01 or later is required to use the RC-28. Download the firmware here.
• When you update the control software:
  1. Download and expand the Rsba1_up_ver180.zip.
  2. Double-click Update.exe to start the software update.
  3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
• You must have a previous version of the RS-BA1 software installed BEFORE you can update to version 1.80.

CAUTION

• The Recover_Setup_Rsba1.reg file is included in the Rsba1_up_ver180.zip. Execute the Recover_Setup_Rsba1.reg file ONLY if you need to reset the RS-BA1's settings to their defaults.
