Major changes

This firmware is for the USA version that has a serial number beginning with "02".

Changes in this version

  • Fixed an issue where the digital mode's audio is not output after starting a memory scan with analog and digital modes in the memory channels.
  • Fixed an issue where the CI-V baud rate may not set properly when receiving a CI-V command when turning OFF the receiver.

To update the firmware

  • Thoroughly read Section 7. USING AN SD CARD and Section 13. UPDATING THE FIRMWARE of the INSTRUCTION MANUAL and follow the instructions displayed on the IC-R8600 LCD screen.
  • The firmware will be updated to the following versions.
    Main CPU: 1.33
    Front CPU: 1.01
    DSP Program: 1.04
    DSP Data: 1.01
    FPGA: 1.10
    DV DSP: 1.01
