Celebrate Icom’s 60th Anniversary at Hamvention® 2024

KIRKLAND, Wash. (May 2024) – It’s that time of year! From May 17–19, thousands of ham radio fans will come together in Xenia, OH, for the world’s largest amateur event, Hamvention® 2024. This year’s theme is Expanding Our Community, all in the spirit of encouraging others to begin or further their amateur radio knowledge. Stop by booth 2608 (Tesla, Building 2) to see Icom’s innovations, including catching a sneak peek of an upcoming mystery release!

This year also marks a very proud milestone – the 60th anniversary of Icom. To commemorate this event, we will have a collection of our most notable and historic Amateur radios on display. Attendees can see Icom’s beginnings with the FDAM-1 in 1964, all the way to our newest models. We invite everyone to stop by and celebrate this special moment in Icom’s history.

If you’re looking to get more acquainted with amateur equipment, check out the Special Event Station (W8BI; Tesla, Building 2, booths 2706 – 2707). Visitors can see Icom’s popular base stations in action and contact friends at home or someone new on our IC-7300, IC-7610, IC-9700, IC-705, or IC-905.
