The newest addition to Icom’s CONNECT suite of land mobile solutions
is the F5330D series black box radio with CommandMic™. This compact series offers flexible installation
options and is perfect for use inside a vehicle or as a base station.
Features and capabilities of the space-saving F5330D series include 1700 mW audio output; IDAS/analog
dual mode operation; LINQ™ and single-site trunking; over-the-air alias (OAA); Individual, Group, and All
Call; short data messaging; emergency call; Lone Worker; and more, all housed inside a durable MILSPEC
chassis.
The F5330D series includes a new generation of CommandMic™ with a high-contrast, black background
LCD for easy remote operation. Inside a vehicle, the main RF unit can be installed out of sight where
space is limited, and CommandMic™ hung within reach. For in-building applications, use the
CommandMic™ to remotely control the F5330D over an existing IP network using a PoE switch and
inexpensive LAN cables. Expand your network by adding Icom’s CONNECT RoIP gateway to connect
with systems operating on different protocols seamlessly.
