KIRKLAND, Wash. (December 2021) –
Icom America is proud to announce a new partnership
with MONGO Offshore Challenge as the exclusive Marine Radio Gold-Level Sponsor for the 2022
tournament season. These tournaments will be every weekday and weekend between May 1st and
September 30th, 2022. We very much look forward to being the communications partner of choice
for Team MONGO’s incredible fishing tournament, further solidifying Icom’s stance as the chosen

The MONGO Offshore Challenge is a five-month quest allowing competitors to fish when they
want and weigh in at any Gulf Coast MONGO weigh station, all in hopes of catching the largest
blue marlin, swordfish, tuna, wahoo, or Mahi of the season. Year after year, this competition
captures the excitement and the camaraderie of the sportfishing community in the Gulf Coast–now
expanded to include the east coast.
