KIRKLAND, Wash. (July 2021) –
This year’s EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh is back! Icom America is
thrilled to see everyone in person again and to show off our lineup of trusted avionic radios. We will
be located in Booth 2027,
from July 26th through August 1st, 2021.
On display this year will be our popular A25N Bluetooth® handheld (NAV & COM) and A220 panelmount
transceiver radios. The A25N is a powerful air band radio that has built-in GPS and
Bluetooth® for hands-free operation. In addition, this radio comes packed with navigation functions
like Simplified Waypoint NAV, the ability to create flight plans via iOS® and Android™ app for radio
import via Bluetooth®, and VOR indicators. Other features include FLIP-FLOP channel recall button,
priority watch, and weather channels.
If a panel mount is what you are looking for, the A220 is the perfect radio for experimental to sport
pilots. With the brightest OLED display on the market, view with higher contrast and a wider viewing
angle with faster response time than conventional LCDs. Large switch buttons and an easy-to-spot
FLIP-FLOP button ensure everything is clear and convenient. Additional features include a voiceactivated
intercom function, automatic weather channel spacing, Dualwatch, priority watch, and a
slim physical profile. At 34mm in height, it can fit where panel space is limited. An FAA TSOapproved
version is also available.
